JM Designer Properties, LLC is a design-oriented custom homebuilder providing new home construction and renovation services in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, SC.   • PERSONAL ATTENTION
    JM Designer Properties does not entrust the management of your new home to an inexperienced employee who leaves half way through your project to pursue another career. Instead, owner John Moleski oversees the entire building process ensuring that your home gets the personal attention that it deserves. He is ‘hands-on’ interacting with the suppliers & contractors assuring the highest quality and workmanship possible. This allows your home to be built in a more timely fashion, eliminating waste associated with unnecessary material and labor, reducing the overall project costs.
  • QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
    JM Designer Properties does not employ an in-house staff of laborers to perform the multiple tasks of construction. This approach limits quality, as laborers become ‘jacks of all trade – masters of none’. Instead, we selectively work with the most qualified contractors in the area. This allows us to work with true ‘specialists’ in their field (from concrete finishers to framers, trim carpenters to painters, and everyone in between) ensuring that every home is constructed by skilled tradesman while also providing competitive pricing to the homeowner. The quality of our homes is only as good as the quality of our contractors and the best contractors only work for the best builders. They don’t have time to waste on builders that don’t understand the project and don’t pay them for the work they perform. We don’t work with the ‘cheapest contractors’, only the most qualified.
  • ARTISTIC FLAIR
    JM Designer Properties does not limit your finish selections to three cabinet profiles or five flooring samples. Instead, we work closely with each homeowner to identify the most appropriate finishes that strike that delicate balance between delighting their senses while remaining sensitive to their budget. This is accomplished by maintaining strong relationships with our vendors who offer a variety of materials and finishes that can accommodate every client’s taste and budget providing a true custom home experience.

MEET JOHN

John recently completed a beautiful Show Home in Palmetto Bluff with the help from architect Tom Parker (PDG Architects). This home incorporates all of the latest design trends while still demonstrating the timeless attributes of a quality built home. John is the area’s only homebuilder with a civil engineering degree, MBA and experience working with south Florida’s most talented interior designers. He has won numerous Lighthouse Awards for Best Kitchen, Best Exterior and Best Overall Home as well as been recognized for his community contributions.

John graduated from Penn State University with a civil engineering degree and began his career designing and overseeing the construction of heavy highway projects. He then attended the University of Georgia where he earned his MBA and was recruited as a project manager for a national luxury homebuilder in south Florida building homes in golf course communities. He founded JM Designer Properties in 2004 with the vision to apply his experience, knowledge, and creativity towards the planning, design and construction of custom homes.

John is a licensed residential builder in South Carolina. He oversees all operations and is fully committed to being on the jobsites. His design, construction and project management experience along with his strong work ethic and passion for homebuilding all combine together to successfully delivery his clients the best in quality custom home construction.

John is originally from Pittsburgh and has vacationed on Hilton Head Island since 1981. He currently resides in Sea Pines with his wife and three children. His family enjoys all that the area has to offer including bike riding and spending time at the beach. Having grown up in a musical family, John’s interests also include playing the piano and guitar.

COMMUNITY

Over the years, JM Designer Properties has been recognized for excellence within our profession and for active participation within our community. We had the opportunity to support the Low Country Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes by hosting fundraising activities at our 2014 Designer Show Home. We also work closely with the Coastal Youth Choir to create awareness of their program as well as sponsor fundraising events including our 2018 Designer Show Home in Palmetto Bluff.
